Program Sponsors
The Education Foundation of Sarasota County recently awarded scholarships and awards to students with outstanding Science Fair projects. Through the generosity of caring community sponsors, the Education Foundation of Sarasota County funds the Sarasota Regional Science, Engineering, and Technology Fair, scholarships for high-achieving young scientists, and Sarasota County’s participation in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.
Sarasota High senior Linda Suen is presented with the U.S. Filter/Siemens Water Technologies Award in Environmental Science by James Harshman of U.S. Filter/Siemens Water Technologies. Sarasota High senior Arthur Gottschalk was presented with the inaugural Sarasota-Manatee Phi Beta Kappa Association Award for Scientific Achievement by Phi Beta Kappa representative Stuart Prall

Arthur Gottschalk and Chelse Rence will represent Sarasota County at the Intel ISEF competition May 7 to 13 in Indianapolis, Indiana. They were selected as Intel ISEF finalists as a result of their excellent projects at the regional level.
